Peace Out, (Revolving) Credit Card Debt

This weekend we hit a major milestone - we've paid off all of our revolving credit card debt! Not only that, but we accelerated our payoff schedule a few months earlier than our goal of November 2007.

From this day on, we vow to NEVER pay another cent in finance charges. As we've said before, we're still using credit cards, but only rewards cards that we're paying off every month. We're hoping to turn the tables on the credit card companies and have them start paying US.

We now officially own all of our stuff. Go us.

Congratulations! This Friday will actually be my last payment on any revolving credit card debt as well. It's a great feeling, and I agree that once you've worked so hard to pay it all off, you never want to see another credit card bill again!

Keep up the good work gang!

Enjoy the feeling, because once you purchase a house, it'll be a long time until you ever feel that way again!

way to go! Nothing feels better than after paying off credit card debt. I did it 4 years ago, and ever since then I have been able to really breathe freely. It takes discipline to stay out of debt, which I have been able to do and plan on staying debt free forever.

Congratulations! I have always believed that credit cards are for smart people. You shouldn't use credit cards to borrow money. It makes sense to use them only if you have money but want to make some more or save on your purchases.
