You Can Sell Anything On Ebay - Small Island Country Edition

Those wacky Australians - one tried to put the whole country of New Zealand for sale.

He started the bidding at one cent, but it quickly escalated by 22 bidders to 3,000 Australian dollars (equivalent to about 200 dingo eating babies, or 74 kangaroos, or $2,330 US).

That's hilarious! I grew up in Sydney, and the rivalry with NZ is pretty amusing!

I'm still waiting for delivery of the mountain chain I bought off eBay last year. I don't think it's asking too much for fast shipping! It's not like I'm asking anyone to move mountains or anything.

Oh, wait.

That's hilarious! New Zealand is a beautiful country... I didn't know there was a rivalry between NZ and Australia. I'm glad the other commenter mentioned that.

I too am from Australia and I think the highest bidder paid too high a price!
